Freeze-dried cranberries are a natural, fragrant and fresh treat that retains all the benefits of fresh fruit – without added sugar or preservatives. Thanks to the freeze-drying process, cranberries remain full of flavor, color and natural nutrients.

CRANBERRIES – whole freeze-dried, freeze-dried fruit, 50 g.

Ingredients: 100% freeze-dried cranberries. Allergen-free. Do not expose to direct sunlight. Store in a dry place at room temperature. Prevent air from entering using a zip lock.

Approximately 800 g of fresh cranberries were used for 100 g of freeze-dried cranberries.

What is the process of freeze-drying fruit?

Freeze-drying is a modern method of food preservation that allows to preserve the full taste, aroma and nutritional value of fruit. This process consists of removing water by sublimation, i.e. the direct transition of ice to water vapor without a liquid phase. Thanks to this, the fruit retains its valuable properties, natural structure and almost unchanged appearance.

Freeze drying stage:

1️⃣ Freezing – the fruit is quickly frozen to a very low temperature (up to -50 °C), which stops biological processes and the decomposition of nutrients.

2️⃣ Sublimation (first drying) – in a vacuum, ice passes directly into a gaseous state, which allows up to 98-99% of water to be removed.

3️⃣ Further drying (second drying) – the last traces of moisture are removed, which ensures a long shelf life of the product without the need for preservatives.

Energy value: 384 kcal / 1608 kJ (192 kcal / 804 kJ).
Fats: 1.8 g (0.9 g), of which saturated fatty acids: 0.5 g (0.25 g).
Carbohydrates: 88.8 g (44.4 g), of which sugars: 46.4 g (23.2 g).
Proteins: 1.89 g (0.95 g).
Salt: 15 mg (7.5 mg).
