The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from the flowers of Bourbon Geranium, Pelargonium graveolens (L), Geraniaceae

Origin: Egypt

Harmonizes mind and body and promotes emotional stability.
Geranium essential oil is astringent, hemostatic (stops bleeding), stimulating, diuretic, antiseptic and tonic. It is suitable for lice and as a mosquito repellent.
It is known to help harmonize, calm, relax, restore and maintain emotions.
Like other essential oils, it must be diluted in a carrier oil or base before applying to the skin.

Scent: Floral, fresh, sweet, with a fruity undertone.

Ingredients:
Geraniol, borneol, citronellol, linalool, termineol, limonene, fellandrene, pinene.

INCI name: Pelargonium graveolens Flower Oil

Historical use:
Traditionally used on the skin for its refreshing and astringent (astringent) properties

Safety:
Use on skin diluted to 5% or less in carrier oil. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not swallow. Do not use during pregnancy. May cause dermatitis in hypersensitive individuals.
