Amphora Aromatics Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

A sensual, harmonizing and uplifting scent.
Ylang Ylang essential oil comes from a small tropical tree whose name means "flower of flowers" and is considered a natural aphrodisiac.

The oil is obtained by steam distillation from the flower of Cananga odorata, Anonaceae


Ylang Ylang essential oil has a strongly attractive scent on its own - in a small percentage of people it can occasionally cause headaches.
Always use well diluted in a carrier oil or base for skin applications. Ylang-Ylang is also suitable for use in stressful situations, and in general skin care, especially for oily skin. It is suitable to use the oil in hair dressings, as it has excellent properties as a hair tonic. It has also been used historically for its aphrodisiac properties. A few drops in a vaporizer or romantic candle will help set the romantic mood.

Ingredients:
Methyl benzoate, methyl salicylate, methyl paracretol, benzyl acetate, eugenol, geraniol, linalool and terpenes: pinene, cadinene and others.


Historical use:
Historically used for its aphrodisiac properties. In Indonesia, the flowers are spread on the beds of newlyweds.

Safety:
Diluted to 5% or less in a carrier oil before using on the skin. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not swallow.
