Bona Mel thyme honey is a 100% organic honey with a warm, reddish color and an intense spicy aroma. This exceptional honey comes from bees collecting nectar from wild thyme flowers in the unspoilt natural parks of Sierra Mariola (Alicante), La Safor (Valencia) and Sierra de la Cebollera (Soria). The combination of Mediterranean flora and mountain altitudes of 1,000 to 1,800 meters creates a honey with a unique flavor profile.
The flavor is rich and full, with pronounced acidic notes that provide a complex and balanced taste experience. The aroma is strong and persistent, with floral and phenolic nuances typical of thyme honey. Unlike many other honeys, thyme honey has a low tendency to crystallize, which allows it to remain liquid and creamy for a long time.
