EFFECTS OF ESSENTIAL OIL
Valid effects are found in pine resin, shoots, needles. The oil has a herbal, woody aroma reminiscent of turpentine. The strong aroma of the essential oil is used to relieve mental and physical fatigue, to clear thoughts and to increase concentration. Pine oil relieves coughs, dissolves mucus and clears a “congested head”. It promotes blood circulation, is bactericidal and soothing.

SUITABLE USE OF ESSENTIAL OIL
● For a severe cold and blocked sinuses, bring a pot full of water to a boil, add three drops of pine oil and lean over the steam. Cover your head with a towel and inhale the vapors through your nose and mouth.
● You can drip the essential oil into a hot bath or shower and inhale its pure essence. Inhaling vapors from essential oils is a direct method of aromatherapy and brings phytoncides
(= plant antibiotics of higher plants – essential oils, alkaloids, tannins and enzymes) directly into your body.
● The essential oil is suitable for vaporizers. Drop a few drops into a container of water and hang it on a radiator. A soaked towel will also suffice, drop a few drops of essential oil on it.
