Vitamin B3 is a water-soluble vitamin, meaning that the body cannot store it. Niacin, also known as nicotinic acid, is a popular form of vitamin B3 because it can cause flushing in some individuals. For this reason, it is recommended to take only small amounts or gradually switch to higher doses of this form.

Recommended dosage:
Take 1 capsule daily with a main meal or as directed by a healthcare professional. Never take on an empty stomach.

100 mg of nicotinic acid may cause skin redness in sensitive individuals. This sensation is normal and will subside within a few minutes. Drinking water or eating starchy foods such as bread may help relieve the uncomfortable redness. Individuals with impaired liver function or a history of liver disease, diabetes mellitus, active peptic ulcer disease, gout, cardiac arrhythmia, migraine, and alcoholism may be particularly sensitive to the effects of nicotinic acid.
Warning: Not intended for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women. Keep out of reach of children! Do not use as a substitute for a varied diet. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
