WHAT IS VITAMIN B5?
Vitamin B5, also known as pantothenic acid, is a water-soluble B vitamin that can contribute to the formation of cells in the body. Like all other B vitamins, vitamin B5 is not stored in the body. Therefore, it must be a standard part of the diet to prevent its deficiency.
WHAT DOES VITAMIN B5 DO?
Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal mental performance. B5 also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to the normal synthesis and metabolism of steroid hormones, vitamin D and some neurotransmitters.
