3-Algae mix from La Patrona: three types of dried seaweed from Spanish coastal waters

The La Patrona seaweed mix consists of three types of dried seaweed, namely wakame, sea spaghetti and sea lettuce, all harvested in the Rías Baixas, a coastal region in southern Galicia. This mixture of brown and green algae is characterized by its potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, protein and fiber content. Thanks to the natural drying at low temperatures (below 40°C), the algae retain their structure, color and high nutritional value.

Wakame has a delicate and sweet taste with a clean aroma, reminiscent of oysters. Sea spaghetti has a delicate taste and texture, and sea salad has a fresh and strong taste that reminds of sorrel and... the sea. Ideal for salads, soups, stuffings and frying.

Why buy seaweed from La Patrona?

Various seaweeds are hand-harvested in Galician estuaries, washed, dehydrated and packaged by La Patrona in biodegradable, plastic-free packaging. Harvesting is done on foot or by diving at shallow depths and using a boat. The seaweed is cut off and the rhizoids (roots) are left to grow. This seaweed is fully certified as ORGANIC.
