Phyto’rub, a natural balm, is made from propolis extract and a synergy of 7 organic essential oils known to promote good breathing.

Its topical application provides a feeling of warmth and well-being.

Based on 7 organic essential oils known to promote good breathing: eucalyptus, rosemary camphor, ravintsara, pine, maritime pine, tea tree, peppermint.

Use: 1 to 2 times a day, lightly massage a button-sized amount of Phyto’Rub balm onto the chest, neck and back.

Not recommended for children under 6 years of age. Not recommended for hypersensitivity to camphor.

First application: before use, perform a tolerance test by applying a small amount of Fyto’Rub to the bend of the elbow. Do not use in case of redness.

Their essential oils, which Fyto’Rub contains, are obtained by traditional steam distillation of eucalyptus radiata leaves and flowering rosemary buds.

Ravintsara is an ideal plant that helps stimulate the body's natural defenses in winter.

Its essential oil, which is contained in Fyto’Rub, is obtained by traditional steam distillation of the leaves ravintsary.

Base

Propolis is a sticky waxy substance that bees produce from resin, which they take from the buds of trees (mainly poplar, beech, elder, willow, linden and conifers).

The bees process the resin with their salivary enzymes and mix it with beeswax and starch to form a golden brown to reddish brown mass known as propolis.

Propolis is hard and brittle at low temperatures, softens above 30 °C and melts at a temperature of around 60 °C to 70 °C. "Propolis" is Greek for "suburb" and refers to a protective barrier.

Bees use propolis to: seal cracks and holes in the hive, strengthen the comb (larval cells) and keep it free of pathogens, ensure a constant, optimal temperature, and protect the colony from intrusive pathogens, insects, and foreign substances.

Traditional uses

Propolis has existed since the time of the Egyptians, who used it to embalm the dead.

The Incas were familiar with the ability of propolis to soothe the respiratory tract. The Greek Aristotle used it primarily to support the healing properties of the skin.

Propolis came to the scene in our country in the 15th century. Since then, its skin regenerative properties and ability to boost immunity have been highly valued.

Science has now also proven that propolis supports the immune system (due to its high level of bioflavonoids): there is a significant increase in the number and activity of white blood cells that attack foreign pathogens.
