LaDrome BIO Propolis nasal spray 30 ml

This nasal spray has been specially developed to facilitate nasal breathing.

It has a cleansing and soothing effect on the mucous membranes of the nasal cavity and increases immunity against foreign germs.

Propolis is a sticky waxy substance that bees produce from resin, which they take from the buds of trees (mainly poplar, beech, elder, willow, linden and conifers).

The bees process the resin with their salivary enzymes and mix it with beeswax and starch to form a golden brown to reddish brown mass known as propolis.

Propolis is hard and brittle at low temperatures, softens above 30 °C and melts at a temperature of around 60 °C to 70 °C.

“Propolis” is Greek for “suburb” and refers to a protective barrier.

Bees use propolis to: seal cracks and holes in the hive, strengthen the comb (larval cells) and keep it free of pathogens, ensure a constant, optimal temperature, and protect the colony from intrusive pathogens, insects, and foreign substances.

Propolis has been around since the time of the Egyptians, who used it to embalm the dead.

The Incas were familiar with propolis' ability to soothe the respiratory tract.

The Greek Aristotle used it primarily to promote the healing properties of the skin. Propolis came to our scene in the 15th century. Since then, its skin regenerative properties and ability to boost immunity have been highly valued.

Science has now also proven that propolis supports the immune system (due to its high level of bioflavonoids): there is a significant increase in the number and activity of white blood cells that attack foreign pathogens.

- Thyme (Thymus zygis thymol): protects the mucous membranes and helps you breathe easier, smells pleasant;

- Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare): its expectorant properties soothe irritation in the nose

- Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea): increases the defenses of the mucous membranes

Use:

Use the spray two to four times a day in the nose.

Precautions: do not use for children under 6 years.
