Camu camu is rich in beta-carotene, which has an important function as a provitamin A and antioxidant. It also protects the skin from UV radiation. It contains an extremely high amount of vitamin C, up to 60 times more than an orange. Vitamin C strengthens the immune system, reduces fatigue, protects cells from oxidative stress and promotes collagen formation.

Camu Camu powder is made from the Camu Camu fruit of the Myrciaria Dubia shrub. Organic Camu Camu grows in the swamps of the tropical rainforest in the western Amazon (Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador and parts of Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela). The fruits are the size of a lemon and have a light orange color. It is a tropical fruit with a diameter of 2 to 4 cm. The skin is smooth and its color ranges from pink to dark purple. The flesh is yellow, fleshy and sour.

Camu camu is a source of beta-carotene. Beta-carotene has an important function as provitamin A and can play a role as an antioxidant, in the immune system and in cell communication. Beta-carotene protects the skin from UV damage.

Camu Camu is one of the richest sources of vitamin C (30 to 60 times more than in an orange). Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system, helps reduce fatigue, protects our cells from oxidative stress and supports the body in the formation of collagen.

Recommended dosage:

Take 1 vegetarian capsule twice a day during or after meals with water.
