Cordyceps is a mushroom that has been used in Chinese medicine for over 2000 years. In nature, the mushroom grows on moth caterpillars. Unfortunately, the butterfly does not survive this growth. The Chinese emperor used Cordyceps to increase his activity. The Chinese also called Cordyceps dong chong xia cao, or winter worm â summer grass. Mattisson Cordyceps contains powdered biomass with a high concentration of active ingredients. Cordyceps is an adaptogen. Adaptogens are non-toxic plants that help the body.
