Mattisson BIO Baking Powder - Cream of Tartar is a natural and gluten-free alternative to regular baking powder. It contains only organic cornstarch, cream of tartar and baking soda. Unlike many other baking powders, it does not contain gluten.

Mattisson BIO Baking Powder with Cream of Tartar is the most natural version of a leavening agent. The mixture of tartaric acid (cream of tartar) and baking soda allows for perfect leavening of dough without the need to add acidic ingredients.
Cream of tartar occurs naturally during wine production as a sediment and, after purification, turns into a fine white powder without taste. In combination with baking soda, it forms an effective but natural baking powder suitable even for people with sensitive digestion.

Unlike yeast, it does not require a rising time, and unlike conventional baking powders, it does not contain gluten or phosphates.
Suitable for baking cakes, cupcakes, muffins, cookies and gluten-free desserts.
