Mattisson BIO Linseed Oil - 250 ml

Flaxseed oil is pressed from flaxseed, the seed of the flax plant. Although flaxseed oil is made from flaxseed, there is a difference in nutritional value and effect on the body between flaxseed and linseed oil. Flaxseed oil contains only fatty acids, while flaxseed is also rich in fiber and protein. On the other hand, flaxseed oil is much richer in omega 3 than flaxseed.

Omega 3 fatty acids
Flaxseed oil is rich in the omega 3 fatty acid alpha linolenic acid (ALA). ALA is found exclusively in plant sources and is a precursor to the Omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, the body takes care of this conversion itself. ALA contributes to maintaining normal blood cholesterol levels (2 g per day).

Warning
Do not use in combination with blood thinners and blood pressure lowering drugs.

Recommended dosage:
Flaxseed oil is excellent for salads, cocktails and fruit juices. It is not suitable for frying. After opening, store in a cool and dark place, consume within 3 months.
