BIO almond protein is of plant origin and is a suitable substitute for (animal) protein sources such as whey and soy. Almond protein is made from white almonds that have been pressed, defatted and very finely ground. As a result, the resulting almond protein contains much less fat and much more protein than regular ground almonds. Almond protein has a sweet almond taste and is gluten-free.

Benefits of almond protein
Almond protein is a source of protein and contains 50 grams of protein per 100 grams of product. Proteins are essential for our body; they are the building blocks of our cells and tissues. Protein contributes to the maintenance and growth of muscle mass and to the maintenance of normal bone condition.

How to use almond protein?
Almond protein can be used as an addition to breakfast muesli and is also ideal as a flour substitute in baking recipes such as pancakes, bread, pastries, cookies or cakes (replacing 25% of the original flour). Use extra liquid because almond flour absorbs a lot of moisture, and less sugar because it is naturally sweet. Or prepare almond milk by dissolving 25 g of almond protein in 250 ml of water.

Recommended dosage:
BIO almond protein is suitable for daily use and can be taken before or after training, during meals or before bedtime. Mix 2 tablespoons (approx. 30 g) in a blender, shaker or mixer with 250 ml of water, fruit juice or smoothie. Can also be used as a supplement to muesli breakfast.
