Matcha is a green tea made from the young leaves of the Camellia sinensis tea plant. The finest, whole leaves are stripped of their stems and slowly ground into a fine tea powder. Matcha is the only tea variety where the entire tea leaf is consumed in powdered form. Matcha has a naturally full, slightly bitter taste. Because the leaves are consumed whole, matcha is high in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.

Matcha is a source of L-Theanine, an amino acid with a calming effect*. This latte is therefore ideal to drink after a busy day.

In addition to Matcha, this Matcha latte also contains Ceylon cinnamon, which helps maintain healthy blood sugar levels**, ginger, which has a strengthening effect on the stomach** and helps manage inflammation**, and anise, which supports respiratory and digestive health**.

Recommended dosage
Per cup: Dissolve 2 teaspoons (8 g) of powder in warm water or (plant-based) milk, add the remaining warm liquid (max. 70 degrees). To make the latte extra creamy, it can also be blended in a blender. If desired, you can add a sweetener, such as honey, coconut syrup or coconut blossom sugar.
