Mattisson Bourbon vanilla powder - 30 g

Bourbon vanilla is one of the highest quality vanilla blends in the world and comes from Madagascar. Here it is also known as "black gold". Vanilla powder is obtained from vanilla pods. These pods are the fruits of the Vanilla planifolia plant. The fruits look like pods, especially due to their green color, but they are actually berries. Vanilla powder is obtained from the core and pods of the vanilla plant.

After harvesting, the pods are steamed, dried and then fermented, among other things. This fermentation process gives the pods the dark color that vanilla pods usually have.

Vanilla powder has a deliciously sweet aromatic flavor and is therefore very suitable for use in all types of baked goods.

Recommended dosage:
Excellent for enriching cakes, cocktails or desserts. Replace one vanilla bean with 2.5 g of powder.
