What is glycine?

Glycine is a non-essential amino acid that the human body can synthesize itself. Nevertheless, its sufficient intake from food or dietary supplements is important because it plays a key role in many physiological processes. Glycine acts as an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. It contributes to the regulation of nervous activity, which can help improve sleep quality and overall calming of the body.

Recommended dosage:

Magnesium bisglycinate is best taken on an empty stomach, take a teaspoon (approx. 2 g) with water once a day.
