Mattisson Krill Oil - 500 mg - 60 capsules

Krill is a shrimp-like animal from the Southern Ocean near Antarctica. Krill is almost at the very bottom of the food chain and therefore offers the purest omega 3 fatty acids. Mattisson Krill Oil capsules contain 60 mg EPA and 35 mg DHA, for a total of 130 mg Omega 3. Krill oil is lower in omega 3 than fish oil, but because it is a different form of omega 3 (phospholipids), it is much better absorbed than the fish oil variant.

Krill is sustainably fished and is certified by Friend of the Sea.

EPA AND DHA
EPA and DHA are omega 3 fatty acids that help maintain normal blood pressure (when taking 3 g of EPA and DHA per day, do not take more than 5 mg together). EPA and DHA also have beneficial effects on the heart (at 250 mg of EPA and DHA per day). DHA also has a beneficial effect on the brain and vision (at a dose of 250 mg per day).

Recommended dosage:
1 capsule 1-2 times a day during or after meals. Swallow the capsules with water.
