Mattisson Mood Support – 60 capsules

Mattisson Mood support consists of saffron, 5-HTP, L-Theanine and magnesium taurate. The product acts on two main neurotransmitters related to calmness and mood, namely GABA and serotonin.

Saffron
Saffron is a spice obtained from the crocus sativus plant, or "crocus saffron". The main substances in saffron are the carotenoids crocetin, crocin, picrocrocin and safranal. The higher the concentration of these substances, the higher the quality of the saffron. Carotenoids are precursors of provitamin A substances. Saffron promotes relaxation*, contributes to healthy emotional balance* and helps maintain a positive state of mind*.

5 HTP
5-HTP is an amino acid and is a precursor substance for the neurotransmitters serotonin and melatonin. Serotonin is one of the most important neurotransmitters in the brain and, among other things, regulates your mood and behavior. Serotonin deficiency can cause a variety of symptoms, including depression, stress, low libido, and panic attacks. The neurotransmitter melatonin regulates, among other things, the circadian rhythm, hormone release, and body temperature. Melatonin deficiency can lead to insomnia.

L-theanine
L-theanine is an amino acid found naturally in the leaves of green tea, Camellia Sinensis. L-theanine is thought to work by increasing levels of neurotransmitters in the brain, such as dopamine, serotonin, and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which are responsible for regulating mood, sleep, and anxiety. L-theanine is rapidly absorbed after ingestion and often takes effect within 30 minutes (depending on the dose). L-theanine has calming effects*, helps with sleep*, and is good for concentration*.

Magnesium Taurate
Magnesium Taurate is an organically bound form of magnesium to the amino acid taurine. Magnesium taurate is, among other things, important for our nervous system, contributes to mental resilience and clear mind, supports energy levels and helps with fatigue.

Recommended dosage:
1 x daily 2 capsules during or after meals with water.
