Pure palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is a natural endogenous substance that is produced in response to certain stimuli. PEA is also found in foods such as eggs, peanuts, soy, meat and fish.

PEA is considered an endocannabinoid-like substance, although it does not directly interact with cannabinoid receptors in the endocannabinoid system. Because PEA is a substance that is native to the body, this dietary supplement is well absorbed. In recent years, it has become a subject of research for itspotential anti-inflammatory, analgesic, neuroprotective, antioxidant and immunomodulatory effects.

What is PEA good for?
The exact mechanism of action of PEA has not yet been fully understood, but it is associated with factors involved in the activity of inflammatory cells and immune system modules. Recommended dosage:

For the first two months, take 1 capsule 3 times a day with food and water. If necessary, the daily dose can be taken at once (preferably 3 capsules in the morning). If necessary, a maintenance dose of 2 capsules per day can be taken later. Not suitable in case of (desired) pregnancy and/or breastfeeding. In case of illness or taking medication, consult a specialist before use.
