Noble yeast protein is produced from inactive yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) and is a suitable substitute for (animal) protein sources such as whey and soy protein. Noble yeast protein is produced using a special process, so that the resulting protein that remains has a higher protein content and a lower fat and carbohydrate content than the original product. Noble yeast protein does not contain soy or gluten and is a complete protein containing all essential and branched-chain amino acids.

What are the benefits of yeast protein?
Mattisson Noble protein is a source of protein and contains 60 g of protein per 100 g of product. Protein is essential for our body; it is the building block of our cells and tissues. Protein contributes to the maintenance and growth of muscle mass and to the maintenance of normal bone condition. Mattisson yeast protein is also rich in several B vitamins.

How to use protein?
The noble yeast protein has a wide range of nutritional and health benefits. It is an ideal product for use in (gluten-free) baking. Thanks to its cheesy-nutty taste, Mattisson yeast protein is an ideal substitute for cheese in savory muffins, quiches and cakes.

Recommended dosage:
The yeast protein has a savory taste. The protein is suitable for daily use and can be taken before or after training, during meals or before bedtime. Mix 2 tablespoons (approx. 30 g) in a blender, mixer or shaker with 250 ml of water, fruit juice or smoothie. Can also be used as a supplement to muesli breakfast or soup.
