What is iron?
Iron is a trace element and plays an important role in various body processes. You need very little of it, but its deficiency or excess can have a major impact on your overall health. There are a number of situations where the need for iron is higher than average, including pregnancy and heavy blood loss. The recommended daily allowance of iron is 16 mg per day for women and 11 mg for men.

The most obvious symptoms of iron deficiency are fatigue, pale face and lethargy.

Foods high in iron include applesauce, green vegetables, red meat, poultry, whole grains and dried fruit.

Mattisson sells iron in liquid form. The product is supplemented with vitamin C, which improves iron absorption, and various B vitamins, which are important for energy levels.

Raspberry flavour, honey and blueberry concentrate provide a pleasant taste.

A 15 ml dose provides 13.16 mg of iron. This represents 94% of the reference intake for the average adult.

Recommended dosage:

1 scoop (15 ml) once daily. This food supplement is not suitable for children under 1 year.

From 1 to 5 years: 5 ml daily.

From 5 years: 7.5 ml daily.

Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

Store in a cool, dry place and in a closed container.
