What is bee pollen?

Pollen is a fine powder produced and secreted by the male part of a flower. Bees collect this pollen and add honey or nectar to it, creating grains, which you can sometimes see attached to their legs. These grains are called bee pollen and are carried to the hive. In the hive, they serve as food for the queen and to protect the hive from bacteria and fungi. Our bee pollen comes from Spain.

Immune system

The difference between BIO and conventional bee pollen

Ecological beehives should only be placed in fields with an ecological environment. This allows the bees to collect nectar and pollen only from flowers that have not been treated with pesticides. The entire process of producing organic bee pollen is certified and audited annually. Organic beehives are not allowed to be moved and there is less interference with the bees.

Recommended dosage:

Bee pollen can cause (allergic) reactions, especially in people sensitive to pollen. Therefore, it is reasonable to proceed from 0.5 teaspoon to 2 tablespoons.
