NOW® Beta-1,3/1,6-D-Glucan (beta-glucan) is a bioactive carbohydrate derived from the cell wall of Saccharomyces cerevisiae (baker’s yeast). Studies show that beta-glucan from yeast can interact with certain immune cells, including those found in gut-associated lymphoid tissue (GALT). GALT is part of the intestinal tract and plays an important role in the proper function of the immune system. NOW® Beta-Glucan is supplemented with maitake mushroom for additional support.
Suggested Use
Take 1 capsule 1-2 times daily.
