L-Tyrosine is a conditionally essential amino acid required for the production of the neurotransmitters dopamine, adrenaline and noradrenaline as well as the skin pigment melanin. Noradrenaline and adrenaline play an important role in the body's response to acute stress and, together with dopamine, can promote positive mood and mental alertness. L-Tyrosine is also important for normal thyroid function.
This "extra strength" product contains more L-Tyrosine (750 mg per capsule) than regular strength (500 mg per capsule). The L-tyrosine used is pharmaceutical grade.
Recommended Use
Take 1 capsule 1-3 times daily, ideally between meals.
