A highly absorbable and research-backed form of milk thistle extract for liver support. It is a combination of the flavonoid extract of milk thistle – silybin (a component of silymarin) and phosphatidylcholine.
Silybin is normally a water-soluble flavonoid that, thanks to phytosomal technology, is incorporated into the phospholipid lattice, forming a complex with phosphatidylcholine. This allows Silybin to penetrate the cell membranes of the liver tissue more effectively. In this case, phosphatidylcholine is not only a passive carrier of silybin, but also contributes to liver regeneration. Silybin Phytosome® is 5x more effective than conventional milk thistle extracts.
