All ingredients are 100% bioactive
It may sound obvious. The truth is that many commonly available products contain largely synthetic ingredients, with a high proportion of ballast additives, stabilizers, binders and artificial sweeteners.
Supporting local growers
One of Viridian's key principles is supporting local farmers and local producers of raw materials (not multinational corporations), with whom it has very fair and honest relationships. Viridian thus guarantees the quality of its supplements because it has an overview of the entire production process - literally from the seed to the final product, and at the same time fulfills its philosophy of ethical vitamins.
Natural and functional form of vitamins usable by the body
Do vitamins and minerals have any form? And why shouldn't they all be usable by the body in the same way? That's right. We can show this with iron, one of the most necessary minerals. In ordinary supplements, it is found, for example, in the form of oxide. This form is of little use to the body and the reason why it is used in ordinary supplements is again the low price. For example, Viridian uses a direct extract from the leaves of the Murraya koenigii plant in its Liquid Iron supplement, which provides iron in 100% natural form.
Only capsules of plant origin, no tablets
Tablets with binders are cheaper than capsules, but they contain a high proportion of ballast binders and adhesives, which can make up to 70% of the tablet. If you use dietary supplements in tablets, you can consume up to a kilogram of adhesives and other ballast in a year.
And be careful - many capsules also contain magnesium stearate, which is added to them to prevent the capsule from sticking to the production line. Viridian capsules are made exclusively from natural ingredients.
No GMO ingredients
Genetically modified crops are unnatural. They are created primarily to increase yield and are a product of the agrochemical industry. You will never find any GMO ingredients in Viridian products.
No irradiated ingredients
Food irradiation is carried out using ionizing radiation (alpha, beta, gamma, X-rays, ...) - i.e. radioactive radiation to deactivate the enzymes and living biocultures contained in them, which extends their shelf life.
No animal ingredients
Animal ingredients may not always be harmful, but Viridian tries to make as many of its products as possible suitable for vegans.
No artificial sweeteners
Artificial sweeteners are supposed to be a more suitable alternative to sugar, in fact they are artificial (synthetic) molecular combinations that are unnatural for our body and the environment. Why consume something that does not belong in our body and the environment?
No artificial colors and preservatives
No artificial colors, no preservatives. Viridian products do not contain these or any other artificial additives.
Free of magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide and shellac
Titanium dioxide, or titanium white, is used as a colorant. It is found in many pharmaceutical products, common dietary supplements, industrially processed foods, on tennis courts, where it forms white lines around the court, and also on the Saturn V rocket, where it helped as an exterior coating. Magnesium stearate is used as a lubricant - it prevents capsules from sticking on the production line. In combination with water and soap, it forms an insoluble substance, from which, for example, the typical non-removable rings on bathtubs are formed. Shellac is a resin secreted by the female lacquer worm, an insect living in India. The sheets of this resin dissolve in ethyl alcohol and form liquid shellac, which is used as a varnish and glaze. These substances are commonly used in dietary supplements, medicines and foods. You will not find them in Viridian supplements.
Eco-friendly bottles
Viridian uses amber glass bottles that protect the contents from light and heat. They can also be recycled or reused. They can also be returned to our stores in exchange for a discount on your next purchase. The bottle cap is made of recyclable aluminum and the seal on the cap is made of corn starch – Viridian does not use any plastic.
No palm fat
Viridian is the first brand in the world certified by the POFCAP program – The Palm Oil Free Accreditation Programme. This guarantees that the brand does not use palm oil in its products or during production.
